Re-plating when you want it.
To care for a Dorvelle piece, wipe it with a soft cloth, or use lukewarm water and a little mild soap, rinse and pat dry. Off for the pool and the gym, stored dry in its pouch. Whenever you want it looking like the day it arrived, Dorvelle re-plates it by mail, the first time free.
Re-plating, by mail.
Rhodium is the finish that gives white gold its white. Vermeil is real gold over silver. Whenever you want a piece looking new, we re-plate it by mail. The first time is on us, $45 after that.
Request a prepaid label, send the piece, it comes back re-plated within 5 business days of arrival.
After you wear it.
Wipe gently with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. For a light clean, use lukewarm water and a little mild soap, rinse and pat dry.
Avoid silver dips, abrasive polishing cloths and household cleaners on the plated finish. Ask a specialist before using an ultrasonic or steam cleaner.
When you take it off.
Remove your piece before swimming, showering, exercise or cleaning. Let lotions, perfume and sunscreen dry before putting it on.
Store it dry and separately in a soft pouch or a lined compartment. Keep chains fastened and laid flat to help prevent tangles.
